HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! *Waves an American flag.*

Yeah, so, this morning, I had to wake up at 5 to go with my dad to sell some antiques he has. He had quite a few things, but the one he was most proud of was a large, plastic, driveable Oscar Mayer Weiner-mobile for little toddlers. Can't say I blame him. That thing was made during the '70s. He said it could go as high as $500, but he tried to sell it for $125. Not much luck there... Hardly any people showed up because the antique store was located near an old town. I mean OLD. Several of the building there had to be held up by support beams on the side so they wouldn't fall over. @~@
We had a few things sold. He had a nice collection of beer mugs set out next to a collection of knives and a couple of swords. One knife caught my interest. It was an actual butterfly knife! I had to pick it up and pull off a Spy from Team Fortress 2. Fortunately, my dad knew how to open it like that and taught me how to do it. Since I had nothing to do, I was playing with the knife the whole time. I had trouble at first, but in no time I was twirling it around like a Spy. <3 Man, I wish I had Team Fortress 2...

Knives aside, after we packed up and headed out, we went to a Goodwill and found a few things up for auction there. One of the things was a NES with a remote, a Nintendo Zapper (the guns used for Duck Hunt), and a few games, one of them being Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. No one bidded on it except us. I was expecting a couple of people to bid on it. Oh well, another NES for me! Now I can give my other NES to my step dad so he has one he can actually claim as his own. The thing is we need to buy a power cord for the "new" one, but that isn't much of a problem thanks to a video game store my dad knows about that sells old games, systems, controllers, and cords.

Yeah, today turned out to be a pretty cool day! I need to take a shower before we head out again for Chinese food. Mmm...~

Well, I best be checking my RPG forum. Have a few things to post there and then I'll be off.
